Nissan GT-R Destroyed Transmission Pictures

Samurai Speed just opened up their transmission that was destroyed during a hard launch control launch. The damage appears to be isolated to first gear and the gear shaft. After looking closely at the torn apart first gear, they noticed a pattern of hairline cracks in different places on the gear.

Damn! I told you we cannot use the transmission made in US. We should've used something made in Japan or Germany.

So if the car comes with a tow truck, does that mean your hotwheels come with a carry case?

O you mean the car that will go out of production soon because GM has been in the red financially for years?

Also remember that the car was modified so it is very likely that the torque rise a lot and when the torque is too high any trasmision will take a big damage, Thats why Mercedes can not use the 7 speed transmision in their V12 engines.

Like I've said before I was a Nissan man many years ago and after owning 4 Nissans, 3 of them(Maxima,Stanza,Datsun)horrible and one Sentra was ok did'nt own it for long because the others 3 had engine and transmission problems constantly. You guys who are into the Nissan/Infiniti brand will sooner or later start having issues with these products so be forewarned. Nissan has a history of these kind of problems even to date. Anyway, this news of the GT-R is no surprise to me and others who have moved on to the Toyota,Honda,BMW(BMW still does'nt quite match the Japanese quality overall) and the likes.

Did you guys even read the article? From some of the comments avove it looks like you either can't read or you've got an agenda; in either case your comments are superflous - a literal waste of electrons and web space. This doesn't sound like a typical stock GT-R launch:

"Samurai had launched their highly modified, 600+HP Nissan GT-R over 100 times, pulling some very quick 60' times that dipped below 1.5 seconds on some of their runs."
