your an A$$ Teknik...first off the S65 will eat this car because you are talking about a revamped 12 cylinder compared to a revamped 8 cylinder.....so wheres your logic.....now the S63 will compete with this car compared to the AC-Schnitzer and the Alpina I would still take the Alpina because they do the job just right from exterior to the inrterior to the engine just the complete package they do for BMW is perfect in my opinion. this car I think more and more people are getting into not too many people knew about alpina until a couple of years ago but i knew about them since the early 90's i guess I am an enthusiast and I want to know everything especially when it comes to BMW's and any sport sedan or coupe in that case

really Teknik......and a Veyron will murder the S65 there is only a 4 cylinder difference in your logic RIGHT.......i am sure if Alpina made a 12 cylinder version of the 760 it will compete with the S65 but in your mental case the the Veyron will beat a 760...lolol....you need to stay on here i think people enjoy your idiot and useless remarks.....

you know what Teknik....what cars do you like i only see you killing BMW while you drive a a suzuki weekend special...lolol...try to be a car enthusiast not a BMW trashing enthusiast because your words mean nothing if you can only talk trash about 1 company. grow up and get out of your moms basement and get your self educated. you probably talk in the 3rd person.....they have places for people like you her it is http://www.sesamestreet.org/home and you elmo, grimace, bert, ernie and big bird can trash talk any thing you want.

I heard turbo as well, and I was surprised when I heard it, so it wouldn't surprise me to find out that it truly is supercharged.

Technical perfection. May be the best car available today...

@Teknik: What are you talking about? Ever driven an Alpina? And for your information: You can get the B7 without stripes...And does a Quattroporte or S65 outsell the LS? What bullshit...

It can be compared with the AMG S63....($131,000.00 Base Pice) but definitly not against the AMG S65 ($198,000.00). S63 is natural aspiration V8 6.2 with Panorama Roof (and no body will be telling you that you have an econobox), BTW, "here" a lot of the the people that have BMWs, is because they do not have a budget to get the Mercedes. Now, for the price....the B7 is not bad and it is the first time that I see a bimmer with respectable torque, at high rpms but very respectable, not natural aspiration as they preach but realy good.
