GENEVA MOTOR SHOW: What Is Infiniti Hiding Under The Covers?

I cant say 100% of course but it honestly looks like it may be a coupe, maybe an M coupe? The car certainly looks like it has a long hood, short rear deck, pronounced fenders, and a raked wind shield which suggest that it is some type of coupe. It will be interesting to see though I think the M missed the mark in this class as its level of refinement isnt quite there yet, nor its interior quality, but for a first attempt(the 1st M doesnt count it was a place holder rebadge job which I honestly thought looked better than the big altima look of the current one)it was a pretty good try an M coupe sounds like a natural.

What is Infiniti hiding under the cover? Not much...that's for sure.

I can almost confidently say that that's a G Convertible which isn't something we havn't seen before. Why? Look at that flat roof line aka hardtop convertible.

This is the Essence Concept which is supposed to be a large coupe. Probably a preview of a possible M coupe. It is NOT a GT-R based car.

Do you know what the f*ck you are taking about. I was just at a street race here in Northern California and watched a BMW 335i coupe with JB3 ($620) kick the sh*t out of the Nissan GTR from 0-60 mph. So if you wanna talk sh*t you better back it up with facts.

It definitely has a coupe roofline and with the large proportions my money would be on an M coupe, to kick off the new M restyle supposedly coming next year. Plus Mercedes and BMW already have large luxury coupes so maybe Infiniti is trying to beat Audi and Lexus to this market segment before it gets too crowded. They need to show us the restyled M already, I am dying to get a midsize sports sedan this time around, and I would love to see what Infiniti will have to offer before I buy.

I agree it looks like the G convertible, between the back which looks identical to the shape of a G-coupe and it looks too short in the middle to be a 4 door style coupe. It does look like it has some set of rims on the back from what you can see in the picture. Like it probably has 20" tires in the back. Could also just be the picture

Definitely NOT the G convertible. Besides, the convertible has already been unvieled so there's no reason to hide it under skins. It is a new concept called the Essense. See link
