Better look at the 2007 Lexus LS

If this is going to turn out to be the gorgeous concept LF-S, omg, Lexus sales will go thru the roof!

NOTHING is as gorgeous as the LF-S

Come off it people!

This car is just a fad. It contains no classic design elements that will stand the test of time, it's a "now" car that will look ugly and of the period ten years down the track.

It's all too easy for car designers to go all-out and create a swoopy, un-practical design for the purpose of a design study. But most, if not all concept cars date rather rapidly, as they try to cram all of-the-moment design features into it, not remotely thinking about the basic shape.

History has taught us Lexus cannot create (by themselves) as design that can look fresh for a long period of time.

The first generation LS now looks like an 80's Brick, and the previous-generation IS looks like any other bland car to come out of Japan. Absolutely no imagination whatsoever.

And just imagine the LF-S with normal-size wheels. It will look bloated and un-gainly.

It may be striking as a concept, but it lacks a timeless quality its competitors have in spades.
