Land Rover to begin production of its LRX Concept
It was announced by Land Rover this morning that it will begin production of its LRX concept and will be offered for sale with a Range Rover badge. In an interview with Autocar Land Rover CEO Phil Popham said that if they can produce the intent of the LRX concept it has all the characteristics of the Range Rover. It is the hope of the carmaker that the production car will be as near to the concept’s design and engineering as possible.

The change of badge points to a five-door final production vehicle, although there are indications that it will come with a taller roof line. The smaller Range Rover will have a platform common with the Land Rover Freelander and is expected to borrow much of its hardware. It will also be the greenest Land Rover up to this time.

nice chic mobile i thought the roof line wouldnt slope so much in the back. I thought it would be more like the Range Rover Sport but a 2door version of it. being that its a truck it would be considered a 3 door truck. but it looks nice nothing that i would drive.

I completely forgot about this. The Lagonda concept looks very similar whether its based on a G or not.
