Survey Results Show German Luxury Car Owners Are More Meticulous Than Counterparts
LeaseTrader.com, the nationwide online marketplace for car lease transfers, today released the results of its Spring Cleaning Clean Car Survey, with Audi A6 drivers having the cleanest cars in America. The online survey of more than 2,000 also found that Honda Accord drivers have the most clutter in their vehicles.

To acknowledge the annual “Spring Cleaning” season, LeaseTrader.com polled customers and asked drivers of each major vehicle brand a series of questions relating to the amount of clutter found in their vehicle at any given time, as well as the frequency and time in between cleanings of the exterior and interior of their cars. Minivan and SUV drivers were not included since these vehicles are more often used for families that have a higher propensity for clutter. Other points of interest:

--Survey taken by an equal amount of men and women across all car models.

--35% men claim they wash their car once every two weeks; 22% for women.

--Majority of men claim to have “a few extra papers and limited household items” for car clutter.

--Majority of women have “multiple household items, makeup and paperwork” for car clutter.

--“Household items” for this survey include pens, CDs, snacks, etc.

Top five cleanest vehicles today in America:

1) Audi A6
2) BMW 5 Series
3) Mercedes C Class
4) Infiniti M35X
5) Lexus ES

Anybody with an expensive vehicle is bound to keep it clean.

Acura is up my a$$ and around the corner. Why don't you open you eyes and look for Honda.

What does that make BMW people, since they are second? Still in the closet? Hahahaha!

Yes we Audi boys can be anal. But that can be a good thing. If I had lower expectations and anality (is that a word), I would be driving a popular Japanese brand.

Smarter than Acura owners maybe, but they are still in the closet.

I was approaching this from a different way, with the execption of the C-Class and ES (though the ES is closer to the A6/M35), notice how they are all the mid level sedans that the companies offer. I wonder what that say about the particular segment and the people who buy them (not a flame, just wondering the correlation)

No clutter = simple minded folks who don't multitask and have nothin' much goin on in their lives but to hit the car wash every week :)

usually the brightest most creative people are the messiest and have lots of clutter.. back in the day, I've never come across a billiant professors with weekly 'spring cleaning' schedules and orderly bookshelves... camry, accords, lexus etc, are all driven by high IQ folks.

STFU. Last time I checked, Obama drove a CHRYSLER 300C; not a Lexus ES350. Acura and Lexus are douchemobiles; even Hyundai and Kia's [insert random Spanish word here] nomenclature makes more sense than anything Acura or Lexus could come up with.

bummerMike--

sector is actually correct. picasso had messy studios. a whole mess of 'em! (he could afford many.) he actually forbade his housekeepers to clean or 'organize' any. when one studio got too unmanageable, he went to another.

...and a golf clap to the creator of the title of this thread. It obviously wasn't created to incite a flame war. *sarcasm*

Lexus ES came last cause their owners are advised not to bend to much and be careful with their spinal discs.

I agree with 1UAW. Civilization would be better off if people employed to conduct this study were redirected to digging trenches.
