Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabrio coming with a new “collar” for the back seats
As you may know already, when the new Mercedes-Benz SL was revealed this brought also the new system of the German manufacturer dubbed Airscarf, created in order to bring a “scarf” of warm air on your neck at high speeds but also when the weather is cold.

These are not soft tops but RAG top. Made of recycled someone's pants without washing them properly in the first place.

Unwashed pants top cars are the worst automotive invention in the world. Not only they look SHIT with the roof up but are also almost useless in winter and when it's cold. That's why you barely see them then.

All that instead of having sleek and both as beautiful as practical coupe/convertible, two cars in one.

And finally:
Mercedes SLK 350: weight 1390 (engine +300 cc larger)
Porsche Boxter S: weight 1345

So much about hardtops being significantly heavier.
