Exactly. And BMW is in big financial trouble too. VAG or Mercedes might have to bail them out.

Last year, net profits for BMW went down almost 90 percent but company heads claimed that the carmaker is in good health financially speaking.
As it turned out the 89.5 percent drop in BMW’s profits, which was equivalent to 2.4 Billion Euros (2.24 Billion Pounds), is attributed to exceptional costs connected to bad debts, personal costs and provisions to cover risks on used car outlets.

blow it out your a$$ bmwdrvr.....Become a car enthusiast thats what I am. I am really big on BMW's and their technology and all the awards they have gotten since their inception....but come on you going to tell me I cant like any other car manufacturer except BMW. you have issues you need to deal with I have a 2006 750i and I love my car it handles and drives the way a big car should and one day hopefully I will own a actual B7 thats the car I would like to get. so dont start throwing your hate my I love so many different cars that you probably wouldnt even know how to pronounce the name too. But one day you will grow up just like alot of other ppl on this site and appreciate cars and trucks for what they are no matter what the hell the brand is.

I hope they build an S or RS version of the Q5 and Q7. That would be awesome!

smoke,
you might have to move to Europe, as the Q7 V12TDI is the "unofficial S version" of the Q7. Even the mirrors are "aluminum" looking like every "S" Audi. 500hp and 738lbs/ft sure qualifies it, TDI or not.

It will probably have the 8 speed tiptronic.

The original Q7 was ugly. This facelifted version is still ugly.

Let me qualify that - the exterior of the Q7 is ugly. The interior is actually quite nice.

Sorry, but I don't like SUVs. Cadillac Escalade, Chevy Suburban, Ford Expedition, Dodge Durango, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Mercedes GL, BMW X5, Porsche Cayenne, etc. - I think they are all ugly. The Q7 is no worse than these others I have mentioned. I have yet to run across a single SUV whose styling I like.

Audi's Q5 is quite nice, but that is a crossover utility vehicle, not a "real" SUV.

The Q7 is ugly and always will be. It is to big, the X5 and the ML looks pretty good stylish elegant and sporty, the Q7 looks like a big boat, the Touareg and the Cayenne also looks boring and ugly. Most people dont even need this type of cars.

"ML looks Pretty Good, Elegant, Stylish & Sporty"

Looks good. If i were an SUV fan i would take this, the X5 (definitely not the X6), the SRT8 Cherokee and........ I guess that's it.

The problem with the Touareg, Cayenne and Q7 is that they are basically a VW. I owned a Touareg for six months and had to dump it because it was so unreliable. I had problems form the start and it took VW forever to find the problems. I went back to BMW and now have a X5 and it's been trouble free.

Hmmm! You must not own an early model X5. Just ask a few people that do.

The Porsche Cayenne and Touareg are much more similar than the Touareg and the Q7.

Q7 looks really dated comparing to Q5.

agree but a good facelift and a 3.0 supercharged engine will be great. They need to replace the DVD nav with the HD nav in the rest of their models

.. and I quote, "a new front griller". Will said 'griller' be commodious enough for 4 20oz porterhouse steaks? LOL!
