Considering the difference between first and second was less than a tenth, Acura and Audi ran about the same time. Audi didn't even have McNish qualify. Still Audi will be in the lead before the first turn.

I sure hope Audi is sandbagging like they did at Le Mans two years back, acting like they were slower than the peugeot and then in the actual race, they blew them out of the water.

I mean, they could run the car in the 1m43s before the official practice, and now, they are running with the rest of the field in the 1m45s.

I think they will still pull off a victory...

to the person who deboosted me, just wondering why that is. That is perhaps the most impartial comment with no bias (besides for the opinion at the end).

In any case, it doesnt matter...

IamEvilHomer - unlike most on this site, i am an enthusiast. i love every brand. i may not like every car they produce but i do value each brand. at the moment, i have to admit that i am slightly biased towards the german brands until the japanese step it up just a little (i see nissan trying and love them for that).

AND; the LMP1 Acura's broke down, only the LMP2 Acura finished the race. That proves how much of an ignorant and an idiot you are.

So far in the race Acura is two seconds slower in race pace.

Both Peugeot and Audi easily beat their qualifying times in the race, while Acura did not. It was pretty obvious who tried to get the pole position. And pole didn't even matter, Audi was leading before the first corner.

And Audi won. The tradition continues on. Remember that for Audi this was a test in order to get ready for the Le Mans race. A win is just icing on the cake. But taking back the title after last year race disappointment is not bad neither.

Bottom Line... Ends justifies the means... It doesnt matter if you qualify 1st, 3rd, 8th, or last, if you win, you win. No body remembers the pole sitter, only the winner.

Congrats Audi... Onto Le Sarthe...
