Has anyone else noticed that many new car designs are justifying BMW's design philosophy? The taut lines, the creases and curves, the (inexplicably) controversial "Bangle-butt" - they are now more emphasized than before; observe new Audis, MBs, VWs, Lexus(es). Sure, each one interpretes it their own way (and some miss terribly - that's right, Mercedes), but it's springs from common ground, except BMW is ahead and seems to know how to use it better. From the release of the 2002 7-Series, I always saw this as inevitable.
