We stopped by to see the Welt on are way back from Garmisch back in November. It was very impressive, the wife thought it was nice too although she's not that into cars. There we're no M-Cars on display,m which I was a little surprised.
I thought about picking up my new M3 over there, but the weather wasn't good during that time and didnt want to have to drive from Munich to Ramstein AB.
If you ever have the chance to go don't hesitate.

A couple quick questions: Why doesn't the car have Zoll plates on it? Did they switch to the regular euro plates, or is this just a factory loaner for the story?

On another tack, if you ever get the chance to do Euro delivery, DO IT! Picking up a BMW on its home soil and getting to exercise it on the Autobahn is a spiritual experience. It also helps that you save a ton of money on any of the regular models (3,5, & 7). $500 to $1,500 over Euro invoice is possibly the best deal you will ever get on any made to order BMW; usually enough to pay for the trip. As for the lack of M cars Sam1, it is because those cars aren't covered under the normal Euro delivery program. You have to convince a dealer to sell an M car from their allocation and place a special order. It can be done, especially in these lean times. I took delivery of my M5 in 2006 and spent two months in Europe. Definitely the best trip of my life. Europe is meant to be seen by car.

Hi SouthBayM5,

The car was a loaner.. sadly we did not get to keep it :(
We can't wait to do an ED with a 135 one day.
