G-Power Typhoon Based On BMW X5 Packs 525 Horsepower
If you can’t wait for the X5 M to arrive and think it does not look aggressive enough there is a solution from G-Power. This BMW tuner added a compressor to the current 4.8-liter engine that now develops 525 horsepower(up by 170 hp).

Top speed is 275 km/h (170 mph) and 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) comes in 6.2 seconds.

Exterior upgrades include a new aggressive body kit with wider fender flares that come complete with matching fender liners. On the front we can see large air intakes for better engine cooling. Rear bumper is new and has two tailpipes in the middle, each measuring 114 mm (4.5 inches) in diameter.

Typhoon rocker panels feature five blue LED lights each, which are activated by the keyless fob or when pulling the door handle. G-Power Typhoon rides on 23-inch wheels, tires come in size 315/25.

It is not as powerful as the upcoming X5 M, which will have 550 horsepower, but surely a good alternative for those who would like the X5 M to look more aggressive. For more details take a look at the press release after images.

Another tacky and classless tuner monstrosity. They need to realize that less is more.

its not classy but it actually is not bad....I can do w/o the front airdam mabybe clean up the design to it and I can definitley do w/o all the outside mood lighting ...thats so 90's its not even funny....and I could also do w/o the colorful seating its looks sort of like a toned down DTM X5. the wheels are hot on any BMW i think. but i could understand why people wouldnt like it.

Is that 0 to 60 time right? Only 6.2 sec seems like the stock 4.8, maybe they meant 5.2sec? I think it would be worth waiting for the X5 M over this.

6.2 sec. is wrong for more than 500hp
