Steve Mattin, Volvo’s design director leaves the company
The report is still hazy at this point in time but it was learned that the award-winning design director of Volvo, Steve Mattin, has left the company. Although more details were not instantly provided, such as the reason for his leaving, where he was headed, who will replace him, etc., the PR manager for Volvo’s East Coast confirmed the news.

The UK-born Mattin, who worked with then Daimler-Chrysler for 17 years, before coming to Volvo. Mattin was the design director for Volvo since 2005 and has been a great influence in the design creations of models like the C30, XC60, and lately, the S60 Concept from Detroit.
