Porsche Panamera Shooting Break… My dream comes true!
Just received this picture of Porsche Future Panamera Shooting break… April Fool? Maybe but this could be the finest answer that Porsche could have come to compete against Audi RS6 Avant which seems to hit hard competitors!

First, it was the SUV, then the 4-door...now this! What's next, a minivan?!?!?!?!

Porsche is Porsche and this isn't Porsche...makes me sad.

It looks just like the regular Panamera.

I think it actually looks better as a shooting brake than the sedan! I think it's a joke for the day though...

Agreed. It actually does look better than the sedan. Whoever did this mockup has talent. But we'll never see a Porsche station wagon. At least I hope not.

Isn't a shooting brake a two door wagaon?

Actually, it looks more like 3-Series Wagon than an A4 Avant.

I see a touch of graphics work on the roof rail. The alignment of the right one is out with regard to the roof. Also, there is no shadow cast by them (the light is coming from the high background, based on the shadow we see of the car cast on the road). Also, the shadow cast on the road looks incorrect for the curvature of the rear. Very good job though...however if the artist had left off those roof rails, I wouldn't have even looked at the shadow! Will we see a Porsche wagon? We already have. Use semantics all you like, but the Cayenne is a wagon. A high-sprung 4 wheel driven wagon, but a wagon none the less.

Whats the difference between this and the regular version?

Sad and ugly! This is not the Porsche I know and love. Porsche has gotten into the wrong market at the wrong time.

This would be a great car if they built it. There is nothing more practical that a wagon: lots of space, and usually better balance than the sedan, which leads to improved high-speed stability and handling.
Which may be why in Europe the sedans are boring while the wagons are the sporty models.
