Review: Infiniti G35x

Of the dozen entry-level luxury/sport sedans "just about as good as a BMW," it may be Infiniti's G35 (priced $33,750 to $39,400) that comes closest to – maybe surpasses – the legendary 3 Series. This rock-solid, four-person sedan provides a great navigation system, wide-ranging audio options, and enough performance to suck the powdered doughnut sugar out of any highway patrol car with its windows rolled down.

Read on to find out how the G35 stacks up against similar offerings from Lexus, Audi, and others. Feast your eyes on our photo slideshow covering the inside and outside of the G35. Peek at our reviewer's notebook by looking at the Fact File, it has all the statistics we used for this review.

The G35 is close BMW 3 serie, please.........I don't think so. First of all, it Ugly compare the Bmw 3, second there are alot other in it class that look way better and cooler. The only right now that I know that is Better looking than the 3 serie is the Lexus IS350. The IS350 is the only car right now that I know of that is good enough in both styling, performance and also have a good chance of taking the Crown away from the 3 serie.

Come on.. with $39K I would rather choose the IS350 any day over the G35 any day.

True, the G35 is probably faster than the 3 serie but the it much Ulglier looking than the BMW 3. Althought I like Lexus more than BMW but I must said that 3 serie look way better than a G35. But if I was going to spend $39K I would rathter get the new Lexus IS350 which is for a Fact is Way much Faster than the G35. Lexus IS350 0-60 in 5.1 second compare to the G35. Hey! buy what you want with your money, everyone has their own like/dislike, I just happen to like the new IS350 much better than both the 3 serie and G35.

The reason why the lease numbers for the 3 is higher than the G35 is because BMW doesn't need give incentives, or money factor deals in order to move cars. Purelists will buy for the join of driving for a few lowsy $$ more. If you can't afford a few more dollars than drive the Infiniti. As they say, can't have champagne taste with a beer budget.

U all guys speaks about real drivers and all that rubbish.

But if this u cosider than G35 will be more of a driver's car than 3 series because it has more speed, power, better handling, more PS....etc

But 3 series is for ALL-Rounder type of Drivers who want more than averge but not extreme speeds,power,PS,Handling,luxury,prestige....etc

So 3 Series is offcourse better than G35 but i have a doubt for THis Upcoming G35x.

First of all, they've already done comparos with the 4 year-old version of the G35, the new 3 series and the IS350. Guess what: The IS came in last again. It does not do 5.1 0-60, rather low 6's. That was a corporate lie. They also said it wasn't very exciting to drive. It looks OK, but still is nothing to shout home about.

The G is still faster than both and handling was way better than the IS. They gave the overall nod to the new 3, but not by much. Once the next G comes out, it will again surpass the 3 and stomp all over Lexus. Lexus (dressed up Toyota) fanboys always want their cars to rule the market, but the cars themselves never quite make it.
