FYI, Hyundai motors owns Kia motors. They are divisions of the same company. They aren't copying each other.

I think the headlamps and tail-lamps are similar to Audi's.

Ooooh I always wondered what happened to Mitsubishi. Their "sportiest" car at the moment is a box. So long are the days of the great GTO/3000gt.

I didn't know that you could be Racist against automotive manufacturers. But yes, look at the lancer. It's flat in the front, flat on the sides, flat in the rear... a box! The eclipse is no box, but since it lost it's light weight inline turbo 4 banger with awd, it lost it's appeal.

Without a doubt Kia make the ugliest cars on the face of the earth.

Don't be bitter because this looks better than the X6.

I saw a Kia Rondo today, and it was actually the nicest looking minivan I have ever seen. So kudos to them :) Also, can you explain to me the link between the Genesis Sedan and the Genesis Coupe other then the name? One is a step above an economy sports car, the other is a 4 door pseudo luxury car.

So are you saying a 110hp Hyundai is faster then a SS cobalt? even to a 155hp cobalt base cobalt I would be skeptical. Sorry but even with it's lighter weight, your Hyundai still falls behind the power to weight ratio of the base cobalt with 21.2lbs/hp vs 17.8lbs/hp (and since these cars aren't traction limited these ratios mean a lot more). And as to fuel economy it gets 27city/33hwy mpg while the cobalt rings in 25city/35hwy mpg... pull out the xfe version and it's up to 25city/37hwy.

Not bad for Kia, should do well against the Genesis.

And? I was saying that the mileages were comparable, which they are, and which is also sad because the Cobalt is heavier and more powerful.

hahaha, you are getting defensive. Your only rebuttle was that GM lied about the power in it's Cobalt, when that is a lie in itself. Here have a look at it's torque/power chart.
http://eogld.ecomm.gm.com/images/lightduty/graytabs/powercurves/2009_ecotec_22l_cobalt_lap.gif
All I see is a nice level torque curve, and at 5252rpm the torque is exactly the same as power. Which if you are telling the truth about knowing how to milk power out of cars, will know happens on all power/torque curves. I know a little bit more then milking a few extra hp out of cars ;) I know how to cfd the exhaust/intake system and tune around resonance as well as ecu tuning. Now, if you would look at this comparison I made with official epa numbers, and specs/prices taken just from the american sites for each respective car company.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v39/joe_limon/comparison.jpg

To calculate the Economy Ratio I used (Power*Average MPG)/Price
To calculate the Fun Ratio I used (Power*Torque)/(Price*0.001*Weight)
And Average ratio is those 2 ratios combined.

Heck for the fun of it I though I would even threw in a Cobalt that somehow got 130hp and 125ftlbs of torque.
