Infiniti adding new models in the USA a strong possibility

Infiniti is looking at expanding its U.S. lineup but is still working on the details, says Nissan Motor Co.'s head of global product development.

The brand may get a small SUV in the United States. Infiniti also could get Nissan's aggressively styled GT-R performance car, shown as a concept called the GT-R Proto at the motor show here. The GT-R will debut as a production car in two years.

The small SUV would be positioned below the Infiniti FX, providing a competitor for the BMW X3.

VW talks of a smaller Touraeg and now Nissan also decides to enter the smaller SUV market. Toyota, on the other hand, increases the best selling RAV4 by 14 inches ! Has Toyota missed something ?
