AUTO SPIES EXCLUSIVE: The Spies peek into the new BMW M5's interior

As an owner of three of the previous M5's (Two extended leather/alcantara, one sport/aluminum), I must say when I get my 2006 or 07 M, I will go with the wood/leather combo vs. the aluminum trim version.

As you can see from the photos, the interior with wood works better on this generation car in my opinion.

It really adds a lot of warmth and breaks up the look of the inside.

Do you agree?

Which would you choose?

I used to agree with SixFive, thinking that the aluminium added to the high-tech appeal of the M5.

But I must say the white/black interior would be my choice. It breaks the monotony of black plastic, and makes the interior look more of a quality item.

If the wood was restricted to dashboard and centre console only, it would be perfect. The wood strips on the door trim look a bit naff.

Why have BMW copied Lexus with the paddle shift?

And I have to say that is a really awful interior.

Ohh looks hot,

Especially transmission shifter, gear lever and stearing wheel.

Other all are styled and fixed well, all r fine.

M's interior is no doubt more catchy,stylish,sporty..etc than many Top end AMG's and Audi S's.

Well overall M5 is an ULtimate Machine. It's just perfect.

But i want to tell u guys something that i am planning to buy 2006 M5.And on the other hand also i am getting a 2350 miles used 06 M5 for $95K.

Good deal i believe so.

So i decided to take u guys help.SHOULD I BUY THIS OR IS IT A GOOD DEAL OR NOT ???

Specifications for this Car is:

06 BMW M5
2350 Miles used
Deep Blue colour
Full options(Not a single OPTION left)
Beige Leather/alcantara interior
5 Years service Contract
Full service History

Owner is selling this car in hurry and not ready to decrease a penny less than $95K.

But i told him to give me for $90K.But he is not

What should i do now.

Should i buy it immediatley or leave it and get a new one.

And in generall about my self is that I personally like new cars and never bought a used or old car.

But M5's looks and passion is slightly changin me, and i don't wanna loose this car.

Even i talked to BMW's Dealer and he is saying that u will get the car after 2 months if u order 1 today.

I asked my freinds and family they told me to leave it as it is expensive for $95K for a used M5 and buy a RS4 instead or wait for the new M3.

So guys i think u will give me a better choice.

BMW has lost it when it comes to interiors. The Dash design is flat and reminds me of 1970's GM cars. No storage compartment in the center console? The interior just looks so cold. Audi and now lexus does interiors so much better than BMWs. BMW interiors are now buttonlessly boring. All that approach does is highlight the endless acres of plastics even more.
