A hybrid for North America never hurts...
A diesel for Europe wouldn't hurt either.
The grille, however, will hurt regardless of region.

I really like the exterior - even more than the BMW. I have owned 4 Acuras as well as a two BMW, 1 MB, 3 Lexus & one Infinit M35 and though it is not my first pick, I believe the Acura is a very reasonable entry luxury vehicle. I concur with most comments on this site about the beak of the TL - which is the primary reason I will not by one at the end of my M35 lease next month. If this car were available now, I would buy / lease one.

A hybrid would make their statement about showing dedication to advancing the brand ring more true, especially after all their bland rehashes recently. There's probably actually an untapped market segment in the reasonably powerful (300+ hp) hybrid crossover; something like the RX450h, but with better driving dynamics and a lower price point. If it had all that, SH-AWD, and came in under about 45k, that could be my next car...
