Nissan: Infiniti four-door GT-R is “not a priority in today’s climate”
It’s been one of those rumors that has become a pain in the arse for many of us. Will there or won’t there be an Infiniti-badged, Nissan GT-R based sedan? It has been rumored for some time now that the Nissan was working on an high-performance, all-wheel-drive sedan for the luxury brand that carries the same twin-turbo V6 as Godzilla - until now.

Even if the Infiniti Essence concept was giving you any hope that Nissan will produce a four-door-coupe-like supercar, you are about to be disappointed.

Not really needed.

I'd like to see G w/ more luxury interior like M and M w/ more dynamic exterior like G. That should be easy task. Oh, and get rid of the catfish front end.

Kind of disappointed, but I understand that in this climate, it is not really necessary. Their line up is amazing already, so now they should just focus on the new M and possibly a new Q or some type of flagship.

Stupid economy.

Maybe not needed... but could've been an oppurtunity to for Infiniti to lay down its absolute best in luxury, performance and styling.

Actually I believe that this is the correct time to place a car if its the right one. If its a great car folks will take notice and buy it later when the economy picks back up.

A 4 door version based off the GTR would sell like hotcakes. People looking for the luxury will be answered. However in a global scale it still won't match with marquee's like Mercedes, BMW, Audi. But in the USDM it will go take some sales from the IS-F market most definitely.

it would take sale from IS-f but the IS-f WILL take sales from marguee's like Mercedes, BMW, Audi in the USDM, on an global scale Toyota can match ANYONE...FACT
