BMW passes Mercedes, but Lexus looms in the mirror

It may not seem like a big deal over here, but Germany's BMW group expects to sell more vehicles than the Mercedes car group this year. If BMW comes out on top, it will be the first time in a decade.

At stake are bragging rights and national pride because Mercedes-Benz traditionally has been the haughty big brother.

I am honestly speaking.....................

I am pretty sure about MB that they will regain thier sales.

As whatever ur thoughts r about MB whether design cues,luxury,performance,looks...whatever but i think it is the world's favourite Luxury car and also World's most famous car like Ferrari or Rolls Royce.

TO be fair unlike BMW,Audi,Lexus,Infiniti,Lamborghini...etc who other than Europe and US, hardly known by any in the world.And this + point of MB's reputation in the whole world COUNTS more than anything.

I do believe that their new models of S,CL,R,CLS...etc will sell like fuels.

But it will also get a major competition from Lexus,BMW,Audi...etc only because of Brand's downfall in the recent 3 to 5 years which resulted in making other nearer competitors strong.

But the King (MB) is out now

With some intresting Models,technologies,designs and also offers and Service.

My comment will get a fact and will turn true at the end of 2006 when u guys will see the MB topping again in sales.

Till then pray for the success of your favourite brand.
