What Discontinued Car Model Would You RESURRECT Next If It Was Yor Decision?
Thunderbird, Camaro, Mustang, MINI, Charger, Challenger, Beetle...just a few models that have been re-invented and brought back to market in recent years.

Some have turned out better than others and sales have varied significantly.

In car companies labs all over, we're sure the discussion of what models deserve a comeback, are in the forefront of their minds.

Which leads us to the subject of our latest article.

What discontinued car model/models would you RESURRECT next if it was YOUR decision?

And it is not limited to previous models from the domestic car companies.

We already know cars like the Mercedes Gullwing are being prepped for re-release.

Feel free to give us your opinion on what should be next.

Blast! I was about to say the 850i... but since the picture is there it doesn't seem very creative. This is tricky though... all the retro 50 era designs have been horrible failures... the efijy concept was good but the PT Cruiser, and HHR are horrible! Maybe a new Duesenberg?

I would have to say these are my 3 favorite

BMW 850: what else is there to say the hottest and one of the fatsest exotics of its time especially if you have the M version of it which was the 850CSi. BMW did not advertise it as a M car but the engine was done by BMW Motorsports division.

Toyota Supra 93-97: this car had the lexus GS300 engine in it with the wide 16 inch wheels on the back this is a super sexy car till this day and that also goes for the 850

GMC Typhoon: My number 1 favorite truck of all time. I think the only truck that compares to that truck today is the SRT8 Jeep Grand Cherokee but its not a 3 door its a 5 door.

ALMOST agree with tango, but I would bring back the Corrado VR6. I can understand why the G60 was mentioned for the "tunability" of the engine, but the VR6 was extremelly smooth, had really good torque and it was a better match for its chassis. Everyone keeps talking about the new Scirocco, but they should be planning on the new Corrado instead.

The 8series I would love to return. If the 8 was around the 6 wouldn't be flagship sports coupe of the range.

I would also like the RX7 and Supra to be resurrected, they along with the NSX and GTR were the most desired cars in the Japanese market. They would still be big hits today I believe.

NSX is my vote. My romantic thoughts about the 8 series went away when the 335 coupe came out. The rear reminds me a lot of the 8, it's lighter, faster, roomier, and certainly cheaper to maintain. Aside from the sleek nose, the 8 is starting to look a bit dated.

BMW 850CSI Is not a CL competitor cause the rear seat and the whole size of the car is smaller than any CL, however in my opinion it was great competitor for the SL, yes it is slightly bigger but for me there was no other BMW like that....It was the world most beautiful coupe and it´s design still the best.

I would create a modern Ford Thunderbird to compete with the BMW M6, Jaguar XKR, Mercedes SL 63 AMG and kick the living hell out them for 40 grand less with a 550 Horsepower Supercharged Ford GT motor. The Chassis would have to be steal with a long beautiful front hood, plush interior and back seats designed for people over 6 foot 2 with a rag top convertible like the original one from the 50's. It would have a 6 speed automatic or a 6 Speed T6060 Gearbox with the trans axle placed in the rear like the Corvette. Resistance would be Futile!
