2011 Audi A3 lineup to have a sedan variant

According to official sources at Audi’s Ingolstadt headquarters, the A1 minicar and the Q3 compact (very-compact) crossover will arrive after that A3 sedan.

Anyone want to bet that the V6 engine choice will be the same old 265hp V6 that Audi has been using since the middle of the decade?

The 265hp 3.2 that is used in the A4/A5 was introduced in 2007 with the A5.
The 255hp 3.2 from the previous A4/A6/A8 was actually a 3.1 litre engine and different from the current 3.2.
The 3.2 from the A3 is a completely different type of engine.

The rear of the sportback is like a 5 door hatchback with a longer trunk. Isn't this stretching the A3 platform too thin?
