Kia Considers Renaming All Models

Kia recently redesigned its compact Spectra, and renamed the vehicle ‘Forte’ to help differentiate the model from the previous generation. The main reason is because Kia hopes to change the demographic of its customers. The median age of Kia buyers is 52 years old. As the automaker pushes fresh new products and updated designs, Kia is hoping to attract younger buyers with the help of new names.

Yes there are people buying those cars. May be you don't care because you look at cars that have 1000HP and above and have tires that stick like glue but there are other people with modest income who would care to get these cars.

Maybe also change company name, not only name of models, than there would be even less bad remembrances, associations from past. And what about the Hyundai Accident, they should definitely change this name.
