Official: 2009 Audi Q7 Facelift

Official: 2009 Audi Q7 Facelift
The Audi Q7 was first rolled out three years ago and as you may know the SUV immediately achieved a leadership position – as a sporty, comfortable as well as high-performance recreational and business vehicle on a grand scale. It was time for a change at it appears that this had happened because the new Q7 showed today its new facelift.

The 2009 Audi Q7 Facelift comes now with a redesigned large single-frame radiator grille with vertical chrome bars contrast with its black high-gloss finish. The bumpers have also been restyled and their lower section is now painted in a contrasting black or gray, depending on the body color. The biggest change is shown by the headlights which now feature the LED technology, continuing the so-called tradition from the Q5, A8, A5, A4, A3 facelift and the R8.The side view too, with its coupe-like roofline, low window area and tautly curved body surfaces, reinforces the dynamic look of the Q7. The rear has also been restyled with and given two-tone paintwork.

Guess it's not getting the 3.0 superchaged motor as rumored. The 3G MMI will be a nice update. Agreed with the front though, wouldn't the lower LED's be enough?

Grille's a bit small for my taste.

Audi has ruined the headlights. Seems like they have millions of spare LEDs and they just decorate the headlight frame/box with them. In earlier models like R8 and A5 they look nice but on Q7 they have just placed them randomly. And agree Q7 from side looks like a mini bus.
I like Cayenne Turbo's LED treatment more.

That's basically because they've been adding the LEDs to all the refreshed cars--first RS6, then A6, then TT S/RS, now Q7. I'm sure that when they're redesigned the LEDs will be fully integrated into the design and look more "right."

Say what you all will, still the best interiors of any car manufacturer out there! I don't mind the headlights. The bottom LEDs are for the turn indicators.

Granted the front-ends a little busy but those LEDs will make the cars otherwise conservative design very noticeable, & I'm sure will be dazzling at night!

Facelift? Finally! some one at autospies who knows the difference between a facelift and a new car. If 009 submitted this article the title would read "New 2009 Audi Q7"

It's so massive. Looks like a whale now. I don't know who designed it but I'm glad the A5/Q5 designer is around now.

Oh and... A6 Avant any day of the week, please. To people shopping for a luxury SUV with a good third row I'll usually say GL.
