I know you will probably end up selling a lot of these books to Saturn buyers who can afford more car but won't walk into another dealership for fear of the negotiating process. There are already several books or this type in print for way less than $29.95. What's your invoice on this book? Does one get a better price if they pay cash? Do you take trade-ins of other car buying publications such as Edmunds or Consumber reports? What are they worth? Do you guarantee in writing that I'll save money on my next car purchase? Why is the author a "former" car salesman? Couldn't he hack it in the cold cruel car business world? How long was he a car salesman? What makes him or you an authority on the subject? How many cars did he sell per month? Why don't you stock all three covers and let the customer choose at the time of purchase?

I see a lot of people buying your book and walking onto a car dealership armed to the hilt with all of this so called "negotiating" knowledge only to walk out with "all" of his or her money in thier pockets. (Except for the $29.95 of course!) The next time the'll see the luxury car the've been dreaming about and saving for will be in thier neighbor's or co-worker's driveway.

Interesting title however. Maybe the next book should be titled: "Kill all of the Lawyers". How about: "How to Write Your Own Prenup and Still Make Her Sign it"? That would save everyone a ton of money.

If you feel the need to be helpful and provide a service to the general public, maybe you should consider writing a book on how to buy other high profit luxury items such as Aircraft, jewelry, swimming pools, furniture, or furs. Why doesn't someone investigate the true cost of those items and publish them? Anyone can go to a wide variety of on-line sources for free to get the cost of a car. There is nothing secret or privilaged about it. You can also use those same services to find out the value of a trade in.

What do you think a dealer is going to do once you confront him or her with this information? "Aw shucks, you found out our secret cost, I guess we'll just have to sell it to you for that?" Get real! Right now, there are more "people with means" than there are luxury cars worth owning, thank god. Enjoy the blogs on this one. It's going to be interesting!
