Tom’s IS45 based on the Lexus IS350
Tom’s revealed today its latest customization for the Lexus IS350 dubbed the IS45. This new programme includes a power increase to 350 hp and 488 Nm of torque but this is not all: the tuning company also offers a new front lip spoiler, new side sills and a rear apron with integrated exhaust system featuring 4 pipes. The kit is completed by the new set of multi-spoke alloy wheels.

How about modifying a car that's actually creating buzz? Instead of a Lexus that loses out to BMW in regards to driving dynamics. That money would be better off being spent on a BMW 335. LOL!

You're a dope. The 335i has continually beaten the IS350 where it counts: reliability, quality, quality of interior materials, value, customer satisfaction and much more. The 335i also handles better than the IS350 and G37 and unlike Lexus or Infiniti is more high tech because it has turbos. The BMW creates 300 horses with turbos and only a 3.0L while Lexus needs higher displacement to create relatively the same horsepower rating. Talk about poor engineering.

The Mitsubishi creates 300 horses with a single turbo and only a 2.0L while BMW needs higher displacement and twin turbos to create relatively the same horsepower rating. Talk about poor engineering.

- Ever heard of low-boost,high-boost applications? Obviously not.

BMW uses low pressure turbos and larger displacement.

Mistu uses a high-pressure turbo and lower displacement.

That makes the comparison a wash.

LexSucks....I understand what you're saying. The point of my post was to undermine david959's idiotic rhetoric. I thought that would have been obvious.

"yeah but the Mitsubishi actually knows how to handle and has driving dynamics no BMW can match and it's designed to be thrashed while the bimmer is designed for soft cruises.

On a lighter note, this IS45 looks no different than stock. The 4tail pipes just don't look right, now we finally know why Lexus went with stacked pipes."

Badgewhore,

My current car is a Mistu Lancer Evo X MR. Traded in a BMW 330i for it. After driving the Evo for 5 minutes, I knew that I would probably never purchase another BMW again! The Evo X’s handling blows away the handling of the 3-series or any BMW.

Don't you mean "You're" as in..."You are"??? Be careful before you throw stones. I'm kidding ... But I do agree, david969 is in fact a troll who just does this to stir the pot here on Autospies and continually draws the ignorant into 'internet fights' every single day. All you have to do is not respond to the comments and he will get bored...It's apparent that he's only doing this because he's a non-Lexus fan trying to make that group look bad, or he is the type that likes to set fires, hide in the bushes and watch others struggle with putting it out.....

This fanboyism and psuedo-fanboyism is so lame. Is it illegal to like multiple brands, or am I forced to have a side? Just asking....

That exhaust looks way better than the ones on the IS-F

Man that IS350 looks great of course in reality you can't compare an IS350 to a IS-F no more than these fools comparing a 335i to an IS-F.

That cornering and handling "feeling" thing is getting tired, no one drives like that - all that matters is RWD nd both 3 and IS have it. Everyone has a 335 around here, this IS looks nice & different than millions of 3 series driven around.
