For those who don’t know, Bertone represents a well-known and respected Italian designer and to give you an example here are some masterpieces: Alfa Romeo Carabo, the Lancia Stratos Zero and the Lamborghini LP500 prototype to name just a few…

The new Mantide uses the mechanicals from the 2009 Corvette ZR1 but shows also a futuristic design inspired by the modern aerospace and the world of Formula One. The theme of the car is clear to see, says the manufacturer: “a teardrop-like fuselage which tightly encases the mechanicals and the passenger cell which is embraced by two prominent wrapping aerodynamic appendages”.

Hey, I never said it was. Plus the Mach 5 had those cool saw blades and the homing robot. And it made that cool sound when it jumped... kyonk-kyonk-kyonk-kyonk-kyonk! I bet this car can't do that.

Yeah because 6.2 L OHV V8s with roots superchargers and intercoolers, coil on spark ignition and variable exhaust are SO old tech.
