GM expects its 2009 China sales to grow 5-10%

Shanghai, April 21 (Gasgoo.com) General Motors expects its sales in China, which has overtaken the United States as the world's largest auto market, to grow 5 to 10% this year, GM China CEO Kevin Wale said on Monday at the 2009 Shanghai auto show, Reuters reported.

GM needs to sell as many asap before the commies kick them out and close plants and reopen a la "under new management" style with all the GM schematics and blue prints acquired through current trade laws.

I'm not surprised because China people love Buick's and Cadillac. It's not a bad thing because the models they have in Asia are pretty nice and prestigious.

I'm here in the Philippines and their Toyota Camry actually looks pretty luxurious.
