Official: 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class by Carlsson

The latest Carlsson E-class will be commemorating its introduction to the world at the Tuning World Bodensee in Friedrichshafen beginning April 30 up to May 3 this year. Carlsson has successfully merged sportiness and elegance in just one car.

The latest aero kit, which was created by Rolf Schepp, Carlsson head designer, instantly became the focus of spectators’ interest. The Carlsson E-Class comes with a totally new front apron with vertically installed xenon-light LED daylight running lights and a stainless steel grid beneath the radiator grill. A rearing horse, Carlsson’s famous emblem, which represents both power and class, is placed on the sides of an entirely re-designed front wings. The re-engineered active design language at the sides is significantly improved by the side rails.

I like how aggressive the front looks, and for some reason with the front air damn couple with the lights reminds me more of the SL Black Series. I like how they got rid of the square exhaust in the rear, but the rear diffuser looks a bit tacked on from some angles. Side brake vent looks good and I'm torn between the 5-spoke or multi-spoke wheels. Overall a very good job.

???The inner headlamp pods as the DRL's??? I dont think that would make for a good light signature when on.
