VW needs to make an Eos R - otherwise this car, although nice, is much too feminine.

forget feminine, they need to build cars that don't fall apart. I mean, Hitler established VW back in 1933 right? I think that's plenty of time to build reliable cars...

I have had my VW for 3 years and no quality issues...unless you are speaking of models from years before.

Platform wise the Eos and the Scirocco are the same. So now that VW has it's new coporate face isn't time to update the Eos front and rear styling? Suggestion-Graft on Scirocco front and rear ends.Widen the fenders and redo the folding top to make a little more coupe like. Finally stick a 260 HP motor in it from the Golf and Scirocco R.

Sorry-I missed the fact they are offering the 260HP engine. The styling now is from the previous VW design. It's time for a substancial update.VW can still call it an Eos. As long as it looks and drives more like a Scirocco who cares!
