those top speeds mentioned seem very slow if you ask me. espicially for the purpose of this course.

The joy of a track day isn't the top speed on the main straight, it's late braking into corners and accelerating out of the corners properly, (often four wheel drifting right to the edge of the track under full throttle, yummy!). The main straight on any track is the most boring part of the circuit, it's where you take a break with your foot stuck to the floor and check your gauges and mirrors and get ready for the fun to begin again.

I was there this past Dicember. it was one of the best experiences in my life. nothing like taking the M3 around the track, drifting on the skid pad in the M6 and doing time attack on the M5's. and of cource the BMW factory Tour.
