I dont get it how is Fiat of all companies even being placed in this situation. They arent really putting up any money at all and trying to rule the world it seems. I have read alot of foriegn web sites and although their cars drive nice and get decent mileage there is still a rilability issue.

Thats the idea. They're not putting money in and they're still going to get what they want. They are at the right place at the right time. Opel is a good brand and FIAT knows it. It can easily be sold after 2 to 3 years at a profit when the economy is better.
