New look at BMW's R-class killer-BMW V-series

By the time that this one hits the market, MB will have sold enough of the R-Class to keep itself alive and well.

Dont get me wrong, I like the exterior styling (not too much of a fan of the 5-series and below interior), but MB did get a jump on the market with their R-Class.

For us middle class people who dont make the cash right now to afford it, it doesnt matter. But for you that have the funds to get it... wait til mid-2006 or after and another $50+ thousand BMW not priced for the people who would appreciate it to hit the road.

Call me crazy, but I dont think anyone is going to buy the R-class.

It looks like another Aztek, Pacifica disaster.

Just not enough people WANT this type of vehicle.

Not to mention its one of the ugliest cars out on the road right now.

And bloody expensive to boot !!!!!!

Hopefully BMW wont make the same mistake as Mercedes did.

this car is like a cross btwn the x5 and a 5. somewhere in between but it still looks sick.

I don't care WHAT brand it is! It's a MINIVAN!

So which one is UGLIER the R-Class or the V-Series? .... W-H-O C-A-R-E-S!!!

It's pointless to call it anything else. It's even insulting to suggest a BMW or MB buyer (not the brightest stars in the sky) would fall into the perception that these vehicles are not really MINIVANS just because the makers don't call them that! Who are they kidding?

What is BMW to do in this category, reduce the cargo space to make it more sporty? that contradicts the purpose of making a MINIVAN!!!

But, I have good news! besides switching to GEICO and saving 15% on my car insurance, there are plently of braindead people out there willing to pay for such vehicles!!!

Who said car buying was logical?

I say build the original Minibus Concept and load it with a 300 hp v8, now that is a cool and practical Minivan!!!

..It's all in the marketing. Funny, though is vehicles continue to increase in size, however, they are styled to disguise the size by using larger badging and other surface techniques. We must wrestle control from the marketing department and return the enthusiasts at the helm of BMW. Not some panywaist from the midwest.
