Byd T6 clones the Porsche Cayenne

Byd T6 clones the Porsche Cayenne
No, this is not a Porsche Cayenne… this is the latest “masterpiece” from the Chinese manufacturer Byd, called the T6. The vehicle is a pure and poor Cayenne clone and it seems it will carry a 2.0-liter engine when it will hit the market in 2010…let’s just hope that Porsche will solve this clone problem and the project will be canceled…same thing in the Geely GE - Rolls-Royce Phantom clone war…!

I'd buy one. Besides, all the rest of my "Made in America" stuff comes with this label, manufactured in Hong Kong.

PATHETIC! Byd needs to come up with there own look instead of ripping of Porsche. Porsche should sue this Chinese clown company but they probably are not worth the paper its worth to write on!

Sue the Chinese in China right? Yeah... they'll win that one. Good luck with enforcing judgment there.

Someone in China probably thought: "Hm, Cayenne, Panamera...Porsche is only proficient in making their vehicles (other than 911) ugly...I can do better and make them REALLY hideous".

Ahhh...China the King of Bootlegs. I would understand all the name brands such as LV, Gucci and Prada. But a Porsche?...Still imitating a prestigious brand like the German machine is truly pathetic.

Can't believed what I just saw. It is very un-ethical thing to do. Don't understand how they are perceive of themselves. Korean car companies copy everyone and take the best part of each models and put in to Genesis Sedan, mimic Infinity G37 for its coupe. but Chinese totally copy the entire model.
Just want to know who would buy such a car and how they feel when they driving it. For myself, I wouldn't even want to be the passenger in those copy-cat car. THIS IS VERY VERY WRONG TO STEAL OTHER PEOPLE HARD WORK, RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENTS.

Sorry, one more thing why some magazine give Genesis any awards??? that encourage more steal design? I think it is o.k. to learn how other are better than you and to improve yourself than just plain robbery.

I agree with TurboSpyder, but I am from a mix race. My father is half German+Japanese and my mother is Thai. And I leaved in those countries at least more than 10 years each country. both Japanese and Thai, they have pretty much high standard in the consuming products. both japanese and thai are very careful in their appearance. I am sure their would dare buying the immitation and pretended to be the real deal.
