I am sick of complete imbeciles whining about iDrive. If you can't figure it out in 1.5 minutes you shouldn't be allowed to drive a car much less write about them.

Should iDrive be part of a drivers license test? No it should not. There is a difference between whining and legitimate complaints about the ease-of-use of a navigation /radio system.

Although you may think that a Genesis Coupe would not be cross shopped with a 335i, in the current macroeconomic environment things are changing rapidly.

I'll tell you one thing, I have seen far more Genesis sedans than 2009 3-series on the road.

Awesome Point Agent00R!!! And I'e seen more Minivans on the street, too! On a counterpoint; I have noticed waaaaay more 3 Series than Rolls Royce Phantoms as well. Also, Agent00R, I have many more people in sneakers than ANY of these cars including the Hyundai so it looks like I trumped you.

WTFYGDI

Phrases like "magic feel" and "intangible" and "sense of occasion" annoy me the most. A) because they are all among the most subjective aspects of a car, and B) because it is a cop-out for a reviewer so that they do not actually have to state what makes one car better than another.

Anthony, it sounds like you would be happiest with a spreadsheet of specifications. The problem is that there are both quantities and qualities that define the experience of a car. A person with experience with many cars will quickly realize that the experience of a particular car can't be boiled down to a list of features.

I'd really like it if all critics can be specific yet also personal about their description of the vehicle. I can read brochures, so I'd like to hear more about a specific feature without feeling the cold opinions of a robot.

Sometimes, critics also don't use the right words or, otherwise, whine too much about practicality and intuitiveness. But that is something we want to know about, so to sum it all up, I just want to hear the car reviewers give their honest opinion without being too biased.
We might say... "Surprise, surprise. That car won, again..." or we might say, "What is he talking about?!" ...man I'm losing my point.
Whatever! Just ask Jeremy Clarkson for some advice!!!

My favorite phrases that automakers use: "the world's finest craftsmanship, quality and blend of technology" or "The Premium Luxury Experience". Come On!! If we believe every word that is written in those brochures, we would have been waiting in line for the dealership to open to buy that Ford Pinto.

The ones I am tired of are fill in the blank and the word like.
_______ like. Lexus like, BMW like, and the such. I am also tired of stupid words like craptastic, and the when descibing detroit automakers as the 2.8. I wont say what web sites use those too the most but the website starting to suck too. Or they always have and I just noticed.

I am more irritated by misinformation or stupid comments in general. At least when giving an opinion, make it known that it is un-backed or simply a matter or personal flavor instead of stating un-official facts. Granted I may be at fault here and there but I make the effort to be somewhat specific and on par.

Aside from that, the one-off posters with nothing to say of value.

"European Look" or "European feel". I can't stand seeing or hearing either of these phrases when referring to an American vehicle. I mean come on. Where's your sense of identity? Sure, European cars do have a better look and a tauter feel about them, but this seems like the ultimate copout.

I'll go with using the word "snick" to describe a gear shift.

Oh, and anything that says or implies that BMW's are better than everything else, because they really aren't.
