Dinan in the works with 500 horsepower BMW M3
Dinan makes aftermarket parts that are known in the industry as the best for BMW drivers. Now they are looking to take the BMW M3 to the next level with a more powerful M3 resulting in a car that will bring a total of 500 horsepower.

Final details are not known but you can be sure there will be modified engine enhancements, high performance exhaust, and super light and racy wheels to go with the vehicle just to name a few. The high performance exhaust can be bought now for the new M3.

Rather than up the power, I would like to see them strip some of the weight.

you got a point the only thing I dont like about factory BMW M's is that they dont come with enough torque. I think the torque should pretty much match the HP but even from the factory these cars still outperform most cars in its class. dinan has been out for years and i remember the power they were pushing out of the 840,850i,and the 850CSi so I know they would do a great job with the new M3. BMW needs to start offering dinan packages through their dealers...hint..hint.;)

doubt they'll offer it thru the dealer...that'll mean backing the warranty and such, dunno if BMW is up for that.

the Dinan modded vehicles are beasts, a neighbor owns an e39 M5 with Dinan goodies. havent found one bad thing to say about it as of yet!

up until recently Dinan parts and installation WAS offered at Dinan-authorized BMW dealers, and Dinan has always matched the factory warranty on any parts installed through them. However now that BMW has started their own line of performance parts, they have essentially cut ties with Dinan, even going as far as to make used BMW's with Dinan parts un-Certifiable. Which sucks, because I wanted to do the Dinan software upgrade on my 535xi, but I'm not going to if there's even a chance of something going wrong and me being stuck without warranty coverage.

I can't wait to see and hear this thing roar on the street. It'll be rare but someone will fork out the extra money to soop up their M3.

That'll be a freaking monster. And so will the price tag.

I bet I can buy a 3 Series for the price of the Dinan upgrade. Overpriced mods. Not a good value for the money.
