Infiniti G37 gets ‘top of its class’ rating from Consumer Reports
The rating ‘top of its class’ was bestowed by Consumer Reports on the revised Infiniti G37 when it was pitted against the Acura TSX, Audi A4 and the latest VW Passat CC, all of which gained the ‘very good’ rating overall.

These cars belong to the high-end sport sedan class, with stickers between $29,675 and $37,525. Thus, the Infiniti G37 remains on top of its class. The main feature of the car is still its drivetrain, which produces very powerful performance while at the same time generates superb fuel economy compared with the generation that preceded it. According to Consumer Reports, the G37 is very fast and is really a fun drive. The Infiniti G37, as well as the Acura TSX, is the only car Consumer Reports recommend for June.

Price considered, yes, no doubt. Price aside, second. Everyone knows already, and?

I kind of miss ChuckG37 and his outrageous claims about the Nissan V6 engine.

I disagree about everybody putting the BMW as definitely ahead of the G. While the BMW is a 10/10 in driving experience compared to probably 8.5-9/10 for the G, the rest of the car- reliability, comfort & convenience features, price, RELIABILITY- easily make up for the ultimate driving performace (which you're going to use on public roads of course). The BMW is a stellar car, but the Infiniti is right there as well as an extremely well rounded car.

Some equipment is unavailable in BMW 3 that is in Infinity G, like 4-wheel steering that also improves handling. Both cars differs in some aspects, which one is better depend on personal preferences, some people like such a gadgets like 4-wheel steering, some not. I personally think that BMW greatly improved reliability in recent years(recently BMW got good note in Autobild's stripdown test) and that it is now similar to Infinity's reliability.

Finally someone talking sense about the whole 3 series vs the G thing. Not everyone likes the shape of BMW's and some dont like the interiors. Nothing wrong with them at all just different. I just think its silly for some folks not to want anyone to have a choice. They say BMW or nothing. The G dosent have to be the 3 just compete with it.

Consumer Reports? Anyone who is into cars isn't into Consumer Reports. When someone tells me that "Consumer Reports says" I just nod my head in disbelief.
