I wish they'd bring the Q7 V12 TDI to the states, I couldnt afford one but my grandfather who past away on a few weeks ago could and he said if they brought it he'd buy one. I guess with the R8 coming with a big V10 engine, not really a need for two super engines in the same car.

Agreed. Without thinking of the money to support production, they should give US the V10 and Europe the V12 TDI. Then I'd move overseas and somehow come up with 180k euros... So much for having the greatest demonstration of using ALMS/LM as a technology pipeline for production vehicles.

forget the V-12 ... bring the A8's V-8 TDI in the R8 to North America.
It would still blow the doors off any muscle car PLUS get 35 - 40 MPG.
Meaning you could drive it every day ... what could be better!
