Lotus Evora convertible will only have two seats
About two months ago Lotus confirmed that it is working on other derivatives of the Evora including the availability of an automatic transmission and a convertible version. It is said that Lotus is also planning a supercharged Evora due out sometime in 2011.

According to a report by AutoCar, the 2+2 Evora will get the option of an automatic transmission with steering wheel mounted paddle shifters by next year. Lotus feels the automatic is essential if it wants to be competitive against the Porsche Cayman and Porsche’s PDK automatic.

Makes sense for a Lotus. Call me crazy but id rather have a Elise/Exige they are the best cornering cars in the world and a are a thrill to drive!
