BMW M5 touring wagon a go

It’s not due in North American showrooms for at least 12 months, but we’ve caught the new BMW M5 Sports Wagon testing in minimal disguise at Germany’s Nürburgring track.

Aimed squarely at the Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG and the upcoming second-generation Audi RS6, BMW’s go-fast load hauler receives the same 5.0-liter 500-hp V10 engine and other mechanical modifications as its lauded sedan sibling, so expect sizzling performance to back up its versatile luggage space.

001Buster, how do you manage to inject inane Audi comments into every thread-----I'd say that having to bring up "Audi this and Audi that--blah blah blah" every time BMW is mentioned "reeks of insecurity". The original touring variant of the M5 came out the exact same time as, if not before, the original S6 wagon in the early-mid 90's, so this vehicle has NOTHING to do with your runner-up of a favorite brand.

People must absolutely hate talking to you in person-----I imagine it's impossible to converse with you without you making some completely irrelevant comment about Audi. "Hey 001Buster, how you doing? Nice Weather we're having today huh?" "Why yes it is nice weather, and speaking of weather, did you know that Audi's Quattro system excels in the wet?"
