GM Considers Ditching Headquarters In Detroit
General Motors Corp is open to considering moving its headquarters from Detroit, selling off U.S. plants and even renegotiating parts of its restructuring plan with its major union, the new chief executive said on Monday.

CEO Fritz Henderson, on a conference call with reporters, said it was more probable that GM was headed for bankruptcy by June 1 - the U.S. government-imposed deadline for the automaker to restructure or face bankruptcy.

"It's more probable that we would need to accomplish our goals in a bankruptcy," Henderson said. "There's still a chance for it to be done outside a court proceeding."

.........and then who are you going to kick around ? I find it appaling that this site finds it entertaining with all the unemployment in this country that when another group of people loose their jobs that there is a select group that take sadistic pleasure in this . What if it was your spouse , son or daughter and there is the threat of forclosure and subsequent divorce . Still appealing ?? There are some good stories on this site but many of the posts like anthony's are getting disgusting and do nothing but add low morale to our country when we are down as it is

For the record,

Obviously I did not write that comment with sinister intentions. I do NOT want to see this happen. How about next time not reading too much into clear sarcasm?

K, thanx.

I have always been an Audi kind of guy, but I decided to go to the Cadillac web page and see what it would cost for me to get into a CTS-V loaded comparable to an Audi S5. Much to my surprise, the CTS-V came out to be around $68k. If my numbers are correct, this car topped out about $6k more than a VERY well loaded Audi s5. I am speechless!!! On a car that the base price is 58k(CTS-V) why is navigation an option?

Keep in mind that CTS-V will dust the S5 in performance. Luxury I am going to guess and say the Audi wins. The Audi would have it for me though, it has to be one of the BEST automotive designs ever. It is just pure sex on wheels. And I am a domestic fan.

Dude the CTS-V has about 200 more horses than the S5, and the S5 dose not even look nearly as cool as the CTS-V!

I was shopping for an A4 with someone a couple weeks ago. I couldn't understand the fact that a $35k+ car does not have standard automatic lights. A $22k Grand Prix had automatic lights standard years ago. Even a $28k VW CC has standard auto lights. But looks like Audi has gotten their act together lately. I mean, up until a couple years ago every little thing was an option. I really like this Premium, Premium Plus, Prestige way of bundling they have now.
