I would just get the Fusion Hybrid over this thing!
And I never knew someone could make a convertible so boring...even the geo metro convertible was more fun inspiring!

The way I see it they trying to hard to be like BMW with the 3 series. I think the car looks nasty and there was no time or effort put into the design of this car. definitley NOT something i would purchase from lexus. they need to redesingn the SC coupe.

HS250H has nothing common with the Corolla. It is related to European midsize Avensis.

Whoever deboosts ppls reactions on this particular article has absolutely NO taste. C'mon the 2-door is weird looking and yes...the HS250H exactly looks like a damn Corolla. Blind idiots.

IS-C didn't look very good in press photos and also in Auto Show photos but in those real life photos, it's looking good. Only the tail lights are a bit boring.

A sporty-looking car. It will find its way to many driveways for simply being a Lexus convertible. The primary market for these are women anyway, so the 3-Series convertible is going to lose a few sales (not a ton though).

only good looking part of either of those cars is the front end of the IS. Everything else is ugly!!!!! Thought the LX570 was the ugliest lexus, now its the HS!! Back seat of IS looks really small; i guess theyll never learn after the amputee-only back seat of the SC430 :/

I wasn't a big fan of the IS-C when I saw it at the LA Auto Show, but the F-mods make it look better. I'd like to see it in person...with the mods. Does the HS have a sportier drive at all (compared to the Insight/Prius)?
001, is the press drive still going on? I drive by Pelican Hill every morning on my way to work. I'm going to snoop around for a sneak peak. Keep up with the great photos.

The E-Class coupe is not in the same class as the 3er or the IS-C. The A5 and the E-class coupe could be more comparable. Anyways, the IS-C does not look exciting at all, even if it was in IS-F form. It looks like a nice Toyota to say the least. I will stick with the sedan.
Isn't the HS250H based off the Prius or Corolla? Nothing prestigious about a re-badged Prius. I thought Lexus and Toyota had complete separation between platforms. Don't worry Lexusholics! I believe this HS will be able to compete with the baby Rolls Royce! What do you think?? = ) LOL.

Agent 001, you need to get some side and 3/4 rear shots of the IS coupes so we can better see what the C-pillar design is.
imo, from the side, it is the C-pillar which is the most identifiable feature of any car (aside from the basic profile).

Obviously you have no idea what the HS is.
TSX = sporty small entry luxury
HS = Lexus Prius

And hopefully this will be a small entry luxury sedan for Lexus that is also a hybrid. But they will probably price it way above the tsx in the mid 30's which will put it past the IS and ES

And if I buy an Altima or and Altima hybrid, I am still buying the altima which competes against the camry and accord.

Nice resort and golf course, with it's usual bunch of rental cars parked in the front.
Tough times ahead for the Chrysler Sebring convertible.

Welcome to Autospies.
The Autopsies photographers are clueless. They never take any pictures of the Basic angles making it impossible to know how the car actually looks. To their credit there is one side shot. But missing is the straight front and rear shots.
Whenever I take pictures of cars I do so in the following order.
1) Straight front/rear/side waistline shot.
2) Rear/front ¾ waist line shot, all four angles.
3) The same shots as 1 & 2 but at eye level.
4) Then I take whatever shots my imagination leads me to.

To me the "H" looks like the Acura TSX... both are very "low end" looking to me for what they are SUPPOSED to be. The IS-C doesnt look terrible, but not as nice as the 4 door
