2010 Opel Astra leaked before Frankfurt debut
The 2010 Opel Astra has been leaked prior to its world debut at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show in September.

The 2010 Opel Astra will be build on the same platform as the “upcoming” Chevrolet Cruze and Volt with design influenced by the Opel Insignia. The powertrain lineup will feature an entry-level 1.4L 4-cylinder with output ranging from 120-hp to 140-hp. Also available for the European market will be a range of diesel engines including a 1.3L, 1.7L and a 2.0L turbocharged engine. An ecoFlex model is expected to join the lineup in 2010.

The previous Astra should have went to Pontiac, not Saturn. This car is better quality than old-school Detroit crap.
This car will be dead once it comes to North America. Saturn now toast, so is Astra. Too bad. Good car.

Did you miss the fact that pontiac is dead too?? It was fine as a saturn, they just didn't advertise them very well.
