Tesla Motors gets over 1,000 deposits for the Model S
A little more than a month ago, Tesla Motors said that it had received 520 $5,000 deposits for the Tesla Model S sedan. Today, Tesla announced that reservations for the Model S have passed 1,000.

Good for Tesla. The S is pretty good looking. I hope the car is still modern and stylish in two years when it finally meets the road. Why not extend the waiting period even longer like GM did with the Camaro.

2 years? There could be some great tech advances by then. Even still I hope those people like there new cars and I applaud them for backing a new car company that can get off its ass and build a car, price it, and SELL it faster than the FAT, LAZY auto companies we have let rule over us the last century.
