Porsche is about to be swallowed up by VW. What will happen to the Panamera then is anyone's guess.

Then Volkswagen will have a new platform for the next Passat or Phaeton.

PORSCHE SWALLOWED BY VW ??
YOU OBVIOUSLY DONT READ THE NEWSPAPER OR WATCH ANY NEWS RIGHT ???

WELL THATS OK, I WILL UPDATE YOU ON THE MATTER :

With Porsche's revelation today that it owns 35.14% of Volkswagen shares comes the news that VW is now a subsidiary of Porsche, thus ending the long slog toward Porsche ownership. Stuttgart has announced its intention to continue purchasing VW shares until it owns a 50% stake. Porsche also made an obligatory offer for Audi — under what we can only assume are really strange German business laws, the automaker also has to at least tender an offer for the VW subsidiary, though Porsche has publicly stated that they have no desire to separate Audi from VW. No word yet on when Porsche will make an offer for General Motors, but Jerry York is rumored to be on a plane to Stuttgart right now. [Automotive News, Sub. Req.]

YOU SHOULD GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT BEFORE YOU MAKE COMMENTS LIKE THAT, IF NOT YOU WILL KEEP LOOKING LIKE A FOOL.

Furthermore, before you call someone a fool, you should make sure you do not look like one by posting old news that is no longer valid. Below is a quote directly from a blog here on Autospies and it goes like this:

" has stolen a march on Porsche, which appears to take over VW until its obligations and the absence of available credit delayed the plan. At present VW is offering a merger that will in fact provide it control of Porsche and which could eventually end in the elimination of Wendelin Wiedeking, Porsche CEO and the person who is credited to have revived the company."

You can read more of this news on various Automotive business sites that is if you can actually read. Don't call anyone a fool unless you can pass the test yourself. And again, it's theTransporter_A8L W12. You're like to movies to late!
