Ghosn: I won't leave Nissan until it's profitable
Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn said that he has no plans to resign until the Japanese automaker is “once again comfortably making profits.”

When Ghosn joined Nissan from Renault in 1999 as chief operating officer, he said that he expected to stay for 10 years.

Looks like he'll be there awhile.

The GT-R that's behind him looks badass.

Its to bad they have to use the value of the dollar vs the yen to help make a profit. Of all of the boring Asian auto makers Nissian has some of the more exciting cars.

Pretty ignorant comment you just made. NSXes, Integras/RSXes, S2000s, Preludes, Civic Sis, Supras, MR2s, Celicas, and RX7s are boring to you?

UAW, no, the Japanese companies don't "use the value of the dollar vs the yen" it's just a condition of the business climate that can affect them. Good sometimes, bad sometimes..... as for calling the asian automakers boring..... well, the way I see it most cars are pretty boring at the moment!

F1 Driver, that's a pretty ignorant statement too, how many of those cars are still available? NSX? Gone, RSX? Gone, S2000 ends next month, Prelude? Long gone, Supra? gone, MR2? gone, Celica? Gone, RX7? Gone.....

The Value of the yen has a direct impact on Japanese automakers profits, this year is direct proof of it.

Only look fast and truly have no guts, these cars are a joke? uaw_lax, you ARE the joke for making a blanket generalization like that. Quite clearly, Nissan isn't the only Asian manufacturer to make exciting cars.

F1 Driver, don't get me wrong, I love all of those cars, it's just that they're not really relevant because they're of absolutely no benefit to the manufacturers, manufacturers make 0 $$ from used car sales.
Badgewhore, correct, there are some pretty awesome cars out there, but I really don't see the kind of inspiration that was out there in the late 80's to the mid 90's is all I'm saying. Yes, most top-level cars are a whole lot better than their predecessors, but the rest of the ranges are pretty average in styling and performance.
