001 and 00R spent the day driving, testing and photographing two of the upcoming Lexus IS350C's.

A badass Black/Black fitted with all the cool FSport mods and a Dark Grey beauty with the rare two-tone Blue/Beige interior.

We can't giving you our driving impressions of the car until tomorrow due to a Lexus imposed Press Embargo but we're allowed to post our photos from today's drive.

I don't car if the blue & white interior was in a Lexus, BMW, Bentley, or Buggati, it would still be GOD AWFUL!

Yea, that color combination on that color exterior is awful. Not a fan of it at all.

One might say all convertibles are for pussies when you think about how they affect handling and rigidity.

They are awesome too but variety is the spice of life.

Hard not to like them all!

Giving credit where it's due... this car looks great! For a minute I had to pause and reflect, but Lexus has done a good job in creating a cool looking Cali cruiser. I can see tons of these running around in Southern California, just the perfect market for this type of car (didn't forget Floridians). I will pass on the Smurf blue though.

What the heck is the deal here. Am I the only one that gets royally ticked when people don't post profile shots of hardtop verts with the TOP UP? GEEEEZ!!!!

Profile with the top down is fine and dandy. Show us one with the top up. Better yet, do a profile comparo with the 3 series, G Class, and the IS-C.

Other than the grill it is hard to distinguish this car from a Pontiac G6 convertible!

say what you will about the SC430, but i like it better than this. this doesn't quite look like a Pontiac G6, but it does look like it belongs in that price bracket. The SC may not be pretty, but it does look and feel expensive.

you'd need 4 or 5 drinks to think this car is hot. the side, rear and decklid are awkward. and that interior defines bad taste. bright blue? really?

After closer inspection a Bayliner 174 has the same blue & white option.

some bayliner owners may just get it then, to match their boat. and probably, not accidentally.

didn't Lexus once send their designers to the french rivera, to study design themes on luxury yachts?

I guess im one of the few people who think the car looks good with the top up. it looks awesomw with it down though.

Nobody cares what any Euro fan thinks about this car, since you're obviously prone to hate anything from Japan. Now with that out of the way, this car is very sporty and handsome.

It's definitely a nice looking car, you can't deny that. But seriously that interior color is just retarded....easy Lexus, let's not west coast custom your cars straight out of the factory now.

The proportions look odd from about the A pillar back. Seems like too much distance between the end of the door and the beginning of the wheel well. Then the rear overhang seems to much... It looks good in the front but the rest is off.

This has got to be one of the worst cabrio designs i have EVER seen. Convertibles are supposed to be sleek and usually all the good looking cabrios have a fairly straight shoulder-line from the A-Pillar rearwards

3-Series/CLK/SL/SLK/DB9/GTC.

Even though i was not too impressed with the New 3-Series cab when it was released, it now seems Perfect design wise when compared to this eyesore.

Pull up pictures of the 3-series cab (Roof Up & Down) and compare Side profile pictures of it and this Shrek of a Vehicle and also rear profile pictures.

Anyone who thinks this is Good Looking is STUPID.

Agree the tail lights look very Toyota Aurion like. They suit on Aurion but not on IS-C IMO.

btw overall looks nice. Especially in the second photo. Only if the tail lights were a bit better. Nice convertible and F accessories are tasteful as well.

Yah gots ta be shitin us.
No way does this tin-top look as good as a 335i cabrio - from any angle.
In fact I rather have a 135i ragtop.

Looks alot like the Pontiac g6 hardtop. Not a good selling point on such an expensive car.

Bud Light is the more appropriate analogy. Or maybe an amateur brew in someone's garage. I saw the car at the L.A. Auto Show and the rear quarter is just fugly. I know people (car enthusiasts) who have the sedan and they either sold it or don't like it after they bought it.

This car would be awesome for $16K. I wonder what the rebates will be in 2010.
