With All Of The Distressed Inventory In American Dealers, WHY Are There No KILLER Deals?
As I tune into the news and hear things like USA Chrysler dealers that are closing HAVE to sell all their remaining inventory in three weeks, it excites me becuase I'm thinking to myself, MAYBE I can get the deal of a lifetime on something say for 00JR1, who is just getting his license.

But as i peruse the deals out there I come to the realization that there are NO deals like that.

Yippee, a Jeep Commander for $12k off MSRP!

Hmmmm, coulda got that LAST summer.

If things were REALLY bad I would think you could buy that commander for $15k or say 1/3 of MSRP.

Heck, I got $13G's off on my Ford F-150 4x4 Lariat last December.

That is below Ford's X-Plan for EMPLOYEES.

So are things REALLY as bad as they say they are?

The media says YES, but after we have done OUR research, we say no...not even close.

By the way for all the dealers reading, when a loaded Ford Fusion or Chevy Malibu is $10G's, THEN we'll say it's time to buy.

Until then, buyers beware of the hype.

I wish someone had an answer for this good question because I would really like to know why dealers wouldnt want to be moving their cars at this time.

I went to trade in my 300C the other day and my local Chevy dealer wanted 36k for a 2010 Camaro V6! Chevy's sticker had 31K on it but the dealer had another one under it that said it had their "Special Edition" package. WTF right?

The dealers that had their franchise pulled will be having a fire sale - beginning any minute.

Well, some dealerships may be going under but they are taking their greed with them. Just bought a loaded 2009 Fusion and had to fight for every penny off sticker price. There aren't many real "deals" out there. GM and Chrysler seem to be the worst.
