a big version of the X6 I think this bimmer will be on the chopping block after a year or so due to sales in the U.S and in Europe. I dont see paying $76,018 (USD) for this I am sorry my BMW fans but I am a no go with this. The german version of the Pontiac Aztec!!!!!!!!!

You can assume this to be slotted inbetween the saloon and the wagon. So the price would be roughly $54k, since that's where it belongs. Although, because this is BMW we're talking about, this will probably be marketed to the uppity crowd. So expect it to start in the $58k range.

you can't just convert the euros to dollars and expect that's what the car will sell for here. An E350 sedan starts at over 50k euros in Germany, too. Is it $75k here? No.

The 5-Series will cost pretty close to what the E-class does, just as it always has.

Over 75 grand for that? WOW! Honestly I dont know what else to say except that BMW is continuing to push more up market. It used to be that they only had maybe one or two cars that cost this much but now it seems that they want more products in this price range. Just looked up an X6 and it was 83 grand and wasnt even fully loaded. 6 series coupe 96 grand not fully loaded. seven series starts at 82g's. Then you have most or all of the M variants. Now I see why the crated the 1 series. However even that can top at in the high 40's. I know you can get it with less options I just wanted to use the one as an example.

I've repeated this many time... Don't convert euros to dollars and expect it to sell for that price. It doesn't work.

They would have to pay me that per hour to drive the ugly POS with a full mask on.

In the above picture 5-GT looks a lot like X6, a lowered X6, especially c pillars and rear end. What's the use? BMW already has X6 and most probably will make 5 series Wagon also. 5-GT looks like a mix of X6 and 5 Wagon to me, more sportier looking than 5 wagon and less unconventional than X6.
